It's no secret that Samsung is the largest handset maker in the world with its Galaxy S line including the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 being blockbuster devices.  Web Ad firm Chitika quantifies this with data showing that while here in the U.S. the Galaxy line falls behind Apple's iPhone in total web use, they totally dominate all other Android handsets.   The above chart shows the breakdown with the S3 and S4 taking an impressive 33.9% and 23.8% respectively in total web traffic of Samsung devices.  These numbers represent web traffic between December 1st and 29th, 2013 and the percentages are of approximately 300 million impressions in the U.S. and Canada.

Interestly, Samsung's Galaxy Note line including the Note I, II and III make up only 13.3% of Samsung's total.  One interesting takeaway form the numbers are that the previous generation phones...such as the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note II have greater share than the current generation Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note III.   This might change as those generations continue selling since both have been out less than a year.   Now there's more information in the research released that pertains to tablet usage, with the key takeaway being that 7 and 10 inch devices are used more than any other size.
